Construct Dox
How It Works
Collaborate as a Community

ConstructDox is a web-based technology solution that runs on Windows server hardware and OS, and requires only that end-users have a web browser (such as Internet Explorer). When users login to ConstructDox, they immediately see all projects of which they are members of. Selecting the desired project allows users to view the project's directory and file list, which includes thumbnail representations of each file and informative icons, such as the markup indicator.

It's an easy-to-use database that neatly stores and organizes all your project files, giving all team members constant access to necessary information online.

Features:
  • Automated notifications
  • Review drawings online
  • 3D – BIM applications
  • 24/7 online access
  • SQL Security
  • Notes
Benefits:
  • Join projects quickly and easily
  • Centralized information
  • Track communication
  • Workflow and RFI management
  • Identify bottlenecks within a project
  • Control project costs
  • Eliminate cross-country deliveries and delays

How secure is your FTP Site?

When files are viewed through ConstructDox, team members with sufficient permissions can create markups and make notations regarding changes. Markups, notes, and emails can be attached in ConstructDox and maintained with the file history.

Access to ConstructDox is by invitation only, and allows you to require SSL certificates for invited users. Folder and document access is dictated by permissions stored in the database, which are set for each user and/or group profile by the ConstructDox Administrator, or accessed through pre-configured permission profiles.

Users are typically invited to a project via email from the project administrator. ConstructDox provides login and password credentials and a set of permissions based on the type of user role assigned.
